2005 Central Oregon Workforce Housing Needs Assessment

Quality affordable housing near employment opportunities encourages economic growth and investment as well as workforce retention. To quantify this belief, Housing Works and its community partners developed the 2005 Central Oregon Workforce Housing Needs Assessment focused on workforce housing in the region and its impact on the economy.

The report provides for each community and county, as well as the region, with employment analysis, housing-related impacts on the economy, the homeownership and rental markets, a gap/demand analysis, and conclusions and recommendations.
