2003 Update of the Central Oregon Housing Needs Assessment

An update of the original 2000 Central Oregon Housing Needs Assessment, this update uses 2000 Census data and available population and employment estimates to identify and forescast income levels and housing needs in the region's three counties and seven incorporated cities. The study contains gap analysis of relationship between jobs and housing in communities. The update is a joint project of the Housing Authority and the Central Oregon Partnership (COP), a local non-profit whose mission is to address and reduce the root causes of poverty in the region. Funding for the update was provided by the COP.
