A Regional Homeownership Program
The dream of many families who currently rent is to purchase a home of their own. The HomeQuest program is aimed at assisting those families with the dream of homeownership. This regional homeownership program supports families in the purchase of good quality, affordable homes near where they work, where their children go to school, and in the neighborhood of their choice in Central Oregon. By working closely with various community resources, HomeQuest works with the family to make this dream a reality.
HomeQuest integrates the best practices from a variety of homeownership models. It allows Housing Works to maintain affordability over a pre-determined period of time while providing flexibility to meet the needs of the homeowner.
Who Can Be a Program Participant?
* Housing Choice Voucher or Family Self-Sufficiency participants, or community members earning 80% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI) and generally a first time homebuyer although program exceptions may apply.
