We have many assistance programs to help low income people in central Oregon:

Affordable Housing

We’re committed to providing quality affordable housing that is on par with mainstream rental properties. Housing Works owns and manages properties–all located in attractive neighborhoods of Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville and Sisters communities. Our portfolio includes multifamily communities, apartments for seniors, supportive housing for special needs, and multifamily communities for agricultural workers.

Housing Assistance

Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program allows families to choose and lease safe, decent, affordable privately-owned rental housing from Central Oregon landlords.

Family Self-Sufficiency

Participating families can set and achieve their goals by entering into a partnership with Housing Works. The FSS program offers participants an opportunity to set goals, and through utilization of community resources, achieve their dreams of personal and financial independence from public assistance.

Home Ownership

Our Home Quest program provides families with the opportunity to achieve their dream of homeownership.

Career Enhancement

The Gateway Center provides education and coaching for individuals working toward achieving new or better employment opportunities.
